Relaxing Epsom Salt Bath with Chamomile & Lavender

After a tough day, you can look forward to relaxing in a warm bath that smells softly of sweet chamomile and lavender. Both of these essential oils deliver a mildly sedative effect.

To make this you will need:

4 cups Epsom salts
20 drops lavender oil
20 drops chamomile oil
Dark colored glass container with lid
4 Tablespoons crushed lavender seeds

Begin by crushing the lavender in a mortar and pestle to release the plant’s healing oil. Mix all ingredients. Scoop into glass container and label. Store in bathroom vanity or tie on a pretty ribbon and display on shelf.

To use: Begin by showering or bathing as you normally would. If you plan to shave, take care of this chore first. Now it’s time to relax. Scoop out about a half-cup of Relaxing Lavender and Chamomile bath salts. Pour into your warm bath, lean back and enjoy the soothing calm that takes over your body.
